The Overlook in Antioch is an absolutely horrible place to live!!!!!  I have had issues left and right w/ parking, because when I get home at night, there are no spots available near my apartment, and I don’t feel I should have to walk a ways, by myself, in the dark, in Antioch, to get to my apartment!  My solution to this was parking on the sidewalk, and getting up early in the morning to move it, and once in a blue moon, there would be a green tow sticker on my car, so I figured I’d just have to beat them to it LOL!  Now, apparently they planted Monkeygrass (which look like freakin’ weeds) in the little square foot and a half of non cemented sidewalk where I park, and now want to charge me 54 DOLLARS for running over weeds!!!!!!!!  Last Monday, I went out to move my car, and there was one of the maintenance guys taking a picture of my car, and advised me there was a paper in my windshield wiper, of which said I was breaking my lease agreement supposedly, and was fined 50 for not parking properly!  I went in to bitch out the manager, for the umpteenth time, and she was no help whatsoever, she did waive that fine, but still hasn’t given me a solution to the problem, except to park way down by the mailboxes!

Last Thursday, I had to go run a load of laundry early in the morning before I left for work, and when I came back, there were 2 spots open next to each other, but there was a big o’ van in the way which prohibited me from manuevering into one spot, and I figured I was only going to be there for an hour, what could happen!!!  Except that I get stickered, of which have graduated to orange, which, I guess means you get fined, because they want $50 for an hour of lousy parking, only bc I couldn’t move w/out hitting the van, and I’m sure he wouldn’t appreciate me hitting him, nor did I wanna damage my nice vehicle!  That day, when I went in to bitch the manager out, she said the owners wouldn’t let her waive the $50 fee, and I asked for a to call these owners, and will be doing so on Monday, but what a load of crap, because they can’t supply sufficient enough parking, that I have to pay money…..BULL SHIT!!!!!

On Friday, when I left for work, at 10ish, of which they would’ve stickered my car by then, I see a black truck parked on the side of the road, and there wasn’t one green or orange sticker on that truck!!!!!  What a load of crap!  And the one time I did park my car on the side of the curb like that, and I moved it early enough, the manager knew I parked it there!  And I don’t know any of the people that work there by name!!!!

Needless to say, I love my new roommie, but I officially told her on Friday to start looking for a new roommate!  Can’t wait to get out of there!  And how sad is it that I’m afraid to leave, or am forced to stay away from home longer bc I don’t wanna lose my spot, or can’t find one!!!!!!  It’s just not fair!
