I know I may not always word things in the best of ways, but luckily, I don’t have the world watching me!
“I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it’s true lightness.” – Alicia Silverstone
“I would like to live forever, because we should not live forever, because if we were ever supposed to live forever, then we would live forever, but we cannot live forever, which is why I would not live forever.” – Ms. Alabama 1994
“Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.” -Oprah Winfrey
“When you’re looking for something, vision is important.” -America’s Next Top Model Contestant (Amanda) on finding a store in Tokyo.
“I’ve never had a problem with drugs. I’ve had problems with the police.” – Keith Richards
“I loved Jordan. He was one of the greatest athletes of our time” -Mariah Carey on hearing of the death of King of Jordan
“If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again.” – Terry Venables
“Always go to other people’s funerals, otherwise they won’t come to yours.” -Yogi Berra
“Strangely, in slow motion replay, the ball seemed to hang in the air for even longer.” – David Acfield
“Chemistry is a class you take in high school or college, where you figure out two plus two is ten, or something.” – Dennis Rodman
“You can put wings on a pig, but you don’t make it an eagle.” – Bill Clinton
“It’s no exaggeration to say that the undecideds could go one way or another.” – George Bush Sr.
“If you take out the killings, Washington actually has a very low crime rate.” – Mayor Marion Barry

Oprah had a show, today, about men cheating, which was enlightening, yet, somewhat sad. They had several couples who were surprisingly open about the affairs they had and why.
- They said they felt underappreciated with the lack of affection and attention.
- VERY rarely was it that a man would cheat with someone better looking than their spouse, but they gave them the attention and made them feel appreciated.
- Men are emotional beings, despite what many women think, it’s just they are not as expressive as women.
- The startling statistic is 1 in 3 men cheat in their marriage!
- VERY few ever admit to the cheating, MOST women will NEVER know!
That was just a little of what was said, M. Gary Neuman, who was on the show, wrote a book called Truth About Cheating. You can go to Oprah’s website and download the book for free for a limited time, I did. It just makes me wonder if I want to get married. That’s a LOT to deal with, can men really be trusted?? I know I shouldn’t base my life on statistics, but between these statistics and the divorce rates, I’m really rethinking whether I EVER want to get married down the road. I’ve met some men that you would NEVER have thought they could do anything wrong, upstanding citizens, leaders in their church and community, and it’s just very shocking to find out they aren’t the most faithful.
I did do some research, and looked up about women cheating, and it appears 1 in 5 have had a fling during their marriage, so that’s not that good either, but, in my opinion, in general, women have more self control, but if they do cheat, it’s for the same reasons.
Do these statistics shock you??? What do you think???

As a kid, I remember hearing that toilet water was safe to drink, but now it has been verified!!!
I was watching Oprah…again, and she had this girl on there, 12 years old, and she did this experiment to see if toilet water was really cleaner than some of the ice at restaurants. She went to 5 different fast food restaurants (she couldn’t say which ones, somehow it was confidential), and she tested the ice through the drive-thru and at the soda machine on the inside, and the toilet water. She then tested all the samples and found out that in 4/5 of the restaurants, the toilet water had less bacteria than the ice!!! No next time you go to the drive-thru, you may want to reconsider ice in your drink! She did say they went back to one of the restaurants, and they did improve, but Oprah then said “The dogs KNOW!!”

So, awhile back, I saw a show on Oprah about past lives, and found it really interesting. I constantly joke about how I was an English teacher in a past life, because I’m a self-proclaimed grammar nazi. I did find this website where you can put in your birthday and it will tell you what you were in a past life. Mine said:
Your past life diagnosis:
I don’t know how you feel about it, but you were female in your last earthly incarnation. You were born somewhere in the territory of modern Central England around the year 900. Your profession was that of a monk (nun), bee-keeper or lone gunman.
Your brief psychological profile in your past life:
Such people are always involved with all new. You have always loved changes, especially in art, music, cooking.
The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation:
The world is full of ill and lonely people. You should help those, who are less fortunate than you are.
Do you ever notice anything you do, that may be an indication of what you may have been in a past life??? For instance, my mother is under the impression she was hung in a past life because she hates having anything close to her neck. Supposedly, you can have upwards of 80 past lives, according to Dr. Brian Weiss, a well-known psychiatrist, he says “We’ve all been black, we’ve all been white, we’ve all been brown, we’ve all been red. We’ve been everything because we have to learn from all sides. … You have to learn from all sides, and that’s part of our learning here on this planet.”
